The Black Canary is an exciting series for fans of both the Arrow and the Flash. It revolves around Dinah Drake Lance and her fight against thugs and her battles with Lady Shiva. With the recent crossover between the two comics, there are plenty of new surprises to look forward to.
Dinah Drake Lance
Dinah Drake Lance is a member of the Birds of Prey, a superhero team. She’s known for her sonic scream superpower.
A longtime favorite of Green Arrow, she’s also a member of the Justice Society of America. Dinah’s father, Richard Drake, is a police officer. He taught her how to fight. The two met at a local dojo.
At the end of her training, she was assigned a new mission by Oracle. It involved finding Black Diamond. As she worked, she discovered that the mission would change her morals.
When she returned to the United States, she joined the Justice Society of America. She made an appearance in several Justice Society team-ups on Earth-One.
Battles with Lady Shiva
Lady Shiva is one of the most well-known martial artists in the DCU. Her reputation is a result of her victories against other masters, and her skills.
She has trained several heroes, including Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake. When she meets a man named Dick Grayson, she admires his fighting skills.
Lady Shiva is one of the most dangerous martial artists in the DC Universe. Although she is not a villain, she is the most lethal fighter in the match.
Lady Shiva is not only a formidable martial artist, she is also a professional killer. In fact, she has a history of trying to corrupt Black Canary.
Fights thugs
Black Canary is a masked vigilante, a former member of the Justice League and an Irish bartender. She is a formidable fighter and known for her canary cry.
She is a powerful martial artist who has worked with Team 7 and Lady Shiva. Her skills include the ability to emit sonic blasts and she is said to have mastered hand-to-hand combat. In addition, she is known for her leadership and tactics.
She is initially seen as a gun-for-hire for Lex Luthor. Later, she is recruited by Batman to join the insurgency against Superman’s regime. It is unknown if Black Canary has a romantic relationship with Owl, or Charles McNider.
Betrayed by Ivy
Poison Ivy is one of the most important villains in Batman’s rogues gallery. She was once a free agent in Gotham. Then she joined the Calabrese crime family led by Selina Kyle. Throughout her career, Ivy has used her sexuality as a tool to lure men.
She is also an eco-terrorist. During her early years in Gotham City, she manipulated men. Eventually, she found out she had immunity to all natural toxins. That was how she began to use her powers.
Ivy later joined the Birds of Prey. But she was not very happy when Katana killed her.
Unlike other villains, she only becomes a threat when she is threatened. In order to keep men under her control, she developed a system that allowed her to make plants attack them.
Flash/Arrow crossovers
CW Arrowverse crossovers are events that combine characters from multiple shows. They are typically arranged chronologically and include the major players from each series. Those involved include the heroes and villains, and occasionally a handful of supporting characters.
In the Arrowverse, the Flash and Arrow are two of the first shows to involve superheroes in a crossover. The first was in 2014-15. It included the return of Grant Gustin’s Flash, as well as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Batwoman, and Lucifer.
The second annual Arrowverse crossover event was in the 2015-16 season. This time, the two teams came together with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Each team battled against a meta-human who had the ability to cross between worlds.

When she married Larry Lance, she was unable to save him. After they divorced, she went to work for the government, and later returned to the United States. In the New 52, her character was changed. It was revealed that she was an alternate version of the original Black Canary.
