The Prophet is an amazing comic book series that combines science, fantasy, and adventure into an epic story that takes place on a space station in space. It’s created by Rob Liefeld and Rob Keatinge, and it’s been one of my favorite reads for a while. I’ve been following the story since it first came out, and now that it’s nearing its final issue, I can’t wait to see what’s in store.
Rob Liefeld’s script
The Prophet is the upcoming movie adaptation based on the popular Rob Liefeld comic series. The movie is being produced by Studio 8 with Jake Gyllenhaal starring as the title character.
The screenplay for the movie is written by Kurt Johnstad. He’s a 300 writer and has also penned scripts for Zack Snyder’s films like Atomic Blonde and Rebel Moon.
Jake Gyllenhaal, who’s starring in the X-Force reboot, is slated to star in the film as the titular experimental super-soldier. However, there are no other cast members announced yet.
It’s believed that this will be the first of many films based on Liefeld’s Extreme Universe pool of characters. Liefeld and Netflix have also struck a deal with each other to include several of his Extreme Universe characters in the streaming service’s X-Force franchise.
According to reports, the script for the movie is finished, but no one knows when it will be released. However, Rob Liefeld has been updating fans on the progress of the film.
Rob Keatinge’s art
The prophet is a character in an original comic series by Image Comics. The story is about a futuristic world with various societal structures on different planets. Each planet is a bit different and has its own characteristics.
Rob Liefeld’s original Prophet has a unique visual language that has a great effect on readers. His comics have a recognizable archetype, but also include plenty of talk and action.
Keatinge is also a master of the Image Comics public relations. He is working on a number of projects with artist Frank Cho, including “Brutal” and “Hell Yeah,” which are both about superheroes. He plans to stick with the title as long as sales allow.
While there have been many other Rob Liefeld comics in the past, the one that stood out was the original “Prophet.” It was an ambitious and inventive concept, but has fallen short of commercial success.
For those that want to read about the prophet, Image is releasing a mini-series in January. This six-issue series will feature a clone general attacking Brain-Mother overlords.
Jake Gyllenhaal’s casting
Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in the comic-to-film adaptation of Prophet, based on the Image Comics series written by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld. The story revolves around John Prophet, who was selected by the Germans during World War II for a scientific experiment that gives him superhuman strength.
After the war is over, KGB agents want to use the blood of the super soldier to build an army of super-soldiers. But the super soldier is brainwashed to serve the dark forces. He is then trapped underground for 20 years.
When he finally wakes up, he struggles to find his family. In order to do so, he enlists the help of a time-traveling scientist, Horatio Wells. He uses DNA-enhancing methods to transform the prophet into a super soldier.
The movie is still years away from being released, and a release date is not yet set. However, it is expected that it will begin production sometime in 2021.
A possible film is in the works
The Prophet comics are an Image Comics series that were created by Rob Liefeld. During the World War II era, a man named John Prophet became a super-soldier. He was later put into stasis.
When he awakened in the present, he was searching for a mission that doesn’t exist. KGB agents have been pursuing him and want to create a line of super-soldiers from his blood.
Now, it looks like a possible film version of the comics is in the works. Jake Gyllenhaal will star in the movie and Marc Guggenheim is writing the script.
A film adaptation of the Prophet comics has been a long time coming. Studio 8 acquired the rights to the series several years ago. They’re now working on a script and a release date. There’s a good chance the movie will hit theaters in 2020.
While there have been no official details on the plot of the movie, it will be set in the Studio 8 universe and will follow a character called John Prophet.
