The Cyberforce is an awesome comic series, and one that has been re-released several times in the past few years. The first of these reprints was the kickstarter edition of the book, and the next was a special 30th anniversary hardcover edition. In 2006, the comic also teamed up with another comic series, Wild C.A.T.S. for a crossover event. Those were all great events, and if you haven’t read these comics yet, you might want to check them out.
Characters
The Cyberforce is a team of super-heroes from Image Comics. They are mutants who have cybernetic implants to enhance their abilities. These mutants pledge to use their gifts for good.
Cyberforce has several members, including: Ballistic, Impact, Michel, Ripclaw, Velocity, and Wolverine Wannabe. Each of these characters has their own unique traits. Some are superhuman athletic, while others have unique powers. Among them, there is a young super-speedster with a bionic arm.
One of the members of Cyberforce, Stryker, is a leader. He saves Bluestone from an assassination attempt, and is then assigned to watch a political figure. But he is also caught up in a big deal.
Another member of the team, Ripclaw, has cybernetic enhancements. She also worked for Cyberdata. However, her evil persona was caused by Professor Richtoffen.
Resurrection in 2006
There’s a lot to be said for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For one thing, it’s a bit of a miracle if you think about it. In fact, it’s actually a pretty damn remarkable feat of God’s engineering to have a human body sit atop an otherwise solid rock, and that’s a tall order. A few centuries ago, there were many apocalyptic scenarios in the Bible belt and the like, but the tyranny of time kept many of the faithful alive. That said, the resurrection of Jesus still holds a special place in the heart of Christians for all of the right reasons. It’s just that the enigma remains a mystery for the most part. After all, there’s not a lot of tangible evidence in the realm of the physical, albeit that isn’t to say a dead body isn’t still out there somewhere, just under the surface waiting to be found.
Crossover with Wild C.A.T.S
The WildC.A.T.s team had several adventures in different time periods and in different places. They traveled in space and in time to stop a group of villains. But how did they do it?
As the WildCATs’ title indicates, the team’s main mission was to prevent crimes against criminals. But that was not their only duty. They also conducted a proactive war against their enemies.
They were aided by a host of characters from across the Wildstorm universe. Some of these characters were introduced in the WildCATs’ series, while others appeared in other comics. Max Cash (also known as Max Profitt) is a superhuman who worked for International Operations and was an excellent marksman. He became romantically involved with Gina DeMedici. Eventually, he went undercover, and was even part of a hit that I.O. did not know about.
Reprints as part of a special 30th anniversary hardcover edition
One of the most popular comic book series of the 1990s is getting a second chance thanks to a Kickstarter campaign. Top Cow Productions will release Cyberforce Complete Collection Volume 1 which includes the first thirteen issues of the ongoing series launched in 1993. The reprint is expected to be available in August of 2022. Aside from the standard hardcover format, the book will be sold as digital comics in the coming months.
The series, which features cybernetically enhanced resistance fighters, has not been reprinted since 1994. Its re-release as a 664-page hardcover collection is part of Top Cow’s celebration of their 30th anniversary. To celebrate their illustrious history, they’ve invited fans to push their campaign to its limits.
Reprints as part of a Kickstarter-first book
Top Cow Productions has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a book that reprints the first five issues of the Cyberforce. This is the first reprint of the comic since its original run.
The comic has not been reprinted since its original limited series ran in 1994. But now, Top Cow will release the complete Cyberforce in print and digital. As part of the Kickstarter campaign, backers will also be able to get their hands on a free 22-page comic.
The Kickstarter project has already reached its goal of $75,000, and has raised more than $20,000 so far. Backers have also been offered the chance to get variant covers, and a hardcover edition of the first five issues.
The book will feature Marc Silvestri, who created the series. Other creators will include Priscilla Petraites, Stjepan Sejic, Brett Booth, and Matt Hawkins.
