The Inhumans is a comic book series that is centered on a group of super-powered people, which is something that’s very interesting and very different from other comics. This article will discuss everything you need to know about this comic, from the plot to the character’s development, so be sure to read on to find out more.
War of Kings
War of Kings is a crossover event that is part of Marvel Comics. It was published between March and August 2009. The Inhumans were involved, along with Nova, Starjammers and Guardians of the Galaxy.
This crossover event involves an epic fight between the Shi’ar Empire and the Kree Empire. There are a variety of characters, including Black Bolt, Nova, Gladiator, Star Lord, Crystal, and Blastaar.
This war draws from the X-Men: Rise And Fall storyline and is a good example of a crossover event. Though it is a bit awe-inspiring, it is also quite accessible. Unlike some other comics events, it is easy to understand and has a clear, logical plot.
A crazed Summers brother, Vulcan, starts a war between two space nations. He believes that the new neighbors are an invitation to expand the Shi’ar empire. However, they don’t want to be colonized.
In order to stop Vulcan, they decide to attack his ships. Suddenly, the Inhumans have an advantage. They have a T-Bomb, which they use to kill Vulcan.
From Bad to Worse
For years, Inhumans have fought alongside Earth’s heroes and villains, but after Secret Invasion, they went on the offensive. Their attacks on the Skrulls nearly decimated the race, and America eventually declared war on the aliens.
The Inhumans are a genetically engineered subrace of humankind. They were created by the Kree thousands of years ago. While still young, they are exposed to magic alien crystals. These crystals awaken mutant powers in the Inhumans.
Those mutant powers can lead to the upper caste of Moon society, or to lower castes depending on their level of power. Crystal is an Inhuman who has gained increased powers as she ages. Her abilities allow her to take advantage of the ruckus.
Black Bolt and the rest of the Inhuman Royal Family have guided the race through turbulent times. However, when Maximus and his allies launch a rebellion, they strand Black Bolt and his allies in Hawaii.
When the United States steals Terrigenesis crystals from the Kree, Black Bolt’s brother, Maximus, launches a revolt against his brother. This forces the Inhumans to move to the Moon.
X-Men vs comics without superpowers
The X-Men are one of the most popular super-teams in the comic world. This team of mutants, led by Professor Xavier, defend humanity against the evil mutants that plague it.
One of the most notable X-Men is Storm. She is one of the most powerful and long-lasting members of the X-Men. Her power is weather manipulation. Aside from Storm, the X-Men have a number of other recognizable and impressive powers.
Rogue is another X-Men member with a few cool tricks. She has a nifty healing factor and is capable of absorbing other people’s powers.
Some of the most memorable X-Men include Jean Grey, Storm, and Wolverine. They have faced off against some of the most dangerous villains in the universe. Their powers are more impressive than what most people realize.
Although the X-Men have a lot of impressive superpowers, they don’t have the full arsenal of classic comic book superpowers. They do have several shapeshifters though.
MCU adaptation
The Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptation of Inhumans aired on ABC, beginning in September of 2017. The series was written by Jonathan Hickman and Pepe Larraz, and directed by Bryan Mount. It centered on the Inhuman Royal Family.
Though the show had some good elements, it struggled to find the proper balance between a comic book and a TV series. There were numerous storylines and characterizations that were misplaced or uninteresting.
Despite the series’ shortcomings, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. earned a loyal fan base thanks to its clever wit and spy high jinks.
Inhumans were introduced as a group of genetically engineered humans in the early 1960s. They were created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. As time went on, they became central players in the Avengers. Their storyline clashed with Thanos.
Marvel Studios originally planned to make an Inhumans movie. However, the project was cut. Several reasons were put forth for the cancellation. One of the major concerns was the character of Black Bolt. While the character was a character in the comics, he was portrayed as a silent protagonist. This would have made him distracting on television.
